  i gave a several talks in gadsden alabama usa during the 90's.

  got to eat and chat with several elders who were in the know such as : felix parnell, willie anderson, bobby rogers, earl parnell, theotis french, and rob dibble.

  all said they struggled with the decision of his dfing.

  That is ironic in view of the fact that Raymond Franz was part of the "Faithful Slave" and got in trouble simply because he abstained from - not went against - votes on doctrinal matters.

  i can see them on firefox browser though.. .

  Help - I'm going to be conducting the watchtower study

  it looks like i'm going to have to take the watchtower study for a while so i thought i'd seek help.. i wont be outing myself or stating anything too controversial, but so far i have come up with the following tactics : 1) ask questions which will get people thinking even if it is about something insignificant - developing a questioning mind is the key to discovering ttat as far as i am concerned.

  2) highlight any extreme points so that some might realise they are extreme.

  3) highlight any good points - helping others in need for example - just because it is the right thing to do.. if anyone has any general comments which could help, please post them here.

  Tell them something like "Jesus came to save the world". Don't tell them he came to save them; that's a tip off to apostasy. If you use the word "world" your audience will know indirectly that it applies to them as well.

  the delusion and hypocrisy runs deep.. he reminds the cult members not to speculate because they aren't supposed to know the day or the hour.

  the issue of whether beards are acceptable or not is addressed in the september 2016 watchtower - well sort of.

  it is as clear as mud as to whether they are allowed in places like australia, usa and britain.. 17. what are some factors that may affect whether a brother wears a beard?17 what about the propriety of brothers wearing a beard?

  it's rare that i bump into someone from the old hall.

  but it happened yesterday with one of the nicest brothers i remember.. he came into my place of work not knowing i worked there.

  my company is now on his delivery route.
